I've orange pilled a lot of people in my nearly decade of being a bitcoiner. People who actually care to learn will understand instantly and move on to more important stuff.

Those who get caught up because it sounds cringy aren't ready to learn no matter what you throw at them. They will either HFSP or get the proce they deserve.

I simultaneously agree with everything you said and also disagree with the idea of not making things easier for precoiners

I was primarily orange pilled using blue wallet and the permissionlessness of bitcoin really clicking. Obviously, in that moment, I wasn’t running a node or really fully understand what was happening but I don’t think I get orange pilled without that tool that made things easier. Same with sats, why would we keep an arbitrary hurdle for more adopters?

It’s not arbitrary. The idea of changing everything to satisfy a tiny but vocal minority isn’t worth even considering. It will never happen. This isn’t even up for debate.

Get a little bit of convenience to onboard a few normies at the expense of significant turmoil whenever using the term bitcoin in any discussion or digital interaction?
