Add in pay by sats to send, creates a proof of work to deter spam and incentivize relay operators.

Or dare I say that the spam debate on core Knots, doesnt Bitcoin have the capability to send messages with the cost baked in

Or the lightning network bridges to email

Once we manage to use a modern protocol for emails, a ton of amazing possibilities will open up. The hardest part will probably to keep it simple enough to make this accessible to everyone, not just some Nostr Bitcoiners.
