I'll be honest.

I know I shouldn't be offended on others behalf.

All racial slurs, no matter who uses them, or how they're used bug TF out of me.

I grew up in a very homogeneous community, and was ignorant to racism. I wasn't programmed that way and even isolated from it.

When I went to basic training I saw it for the first time in person. I was appalled.

Maybe I overreact. I'm okay with that.

There's no "fun context" to racial slurs in my book no matter who co-ops them.

It's common vernacular for lots of folks.

I don't mean to tell someone else how to live their life, or speak their peace.

I just can't stand it.

I've sometimes tolerated it music I liked before, but rubs me the wrong way.
