One of Bitcoin’s utility resides in the fact that it is censorship resistant, people can transact freely without any restrictions or in need of a third party.
It also favors saving over spending, therefore reducing the hyper consumption that our current fiat society promotes.
Speaking of energy consumption, Bitcoin is good for the stabilization of the grid.
I don’t refute anything that you have mentioned about #Bitcoin, in fact I am in total agreement. What I am trying to say is that all the #Bitcoiners have the wrong concept of carbon emissions. Since the Industrial Revolution humanity has drastically changed the Earth’s atmosphere by emitting greenhouse gases that that heats up the atmosphere. We are on the verge of becoming extinct ourselves in the #6thMassExtinction this Earth has gone through. The more #carbon #emissions that we emit the closer we are to tipping Earth’s atmosphere to a point of #inhibition! Earth is a system that must be balanced.

This is all nonsense. The narrative used to be that global cooling would lead to an ice age in the 60s and 70s. Then the narrative shifted to global warming when the weather didn’t actually get colder. But the polar ice caps never melted so they changed the narrative again calling it “climate change.” This is all pseudo science. #Bitcoin will continue to consume more energy and that’s a good thing. There’s nothing you can do to stop it. If you don’t like energy consumption then you should invest in a proof of stake shitcoin.
