He could be a wage earner if Strike is a an s-corp and he pays himself a salary. By negative tax consequences I mean moving into a higher bracket, more liability, and then causing a net loss in sats, or even just a smaller gain than would have otherwise occurred. I think if that is balanced against overall purchasing power gains, combined with a tax loss harvesting strategy, it could minimize those effects.
