Yeah, these things play out in unexpected ways. I’m taking my time, learning the theory and math. I did that with cryptography and that is serving me very well, especially to filter out BS.
This whole AGI thing, even if were to happen, would belong to China (assuming AGI or Superintelligence was going to happen).

Why
The Americans would not be able to do that due to how the models are trained. Chinese models, while censored, don't have the slop us American do (that slop is called Common Crawl).
No model will ever translate into AGI no matter the training source.
