i think AI is amazing for collating data. An initial query is amazing for establishing a research outline.
but then i want to develop the habit of verification, and “eyes on source” to prevent the inevitable power interest topic filtration that is already starting to show.
so, just asking a corporate AI, and blindly trusting the answer is not research.

I don’t have the vocabulary to reflect back to you that I understand technically what you are claiming, but it seems you are saying that there is evidence for next word prediction being manipulated to fit a narrative. Your point is that you don’t have a way to know that there is nothing filter wise between the LLM and the source data when it does next word prediction?
nah.
im suggesting that when corporations and governments are involved, youre going to be lied to. and you wont know exactly where. so do your best to throw a wide net when searching for information. 🙂
