no, it also doesn't support NIP-44 yet either. I'm holding off adding more DM features because of another project Im working on

Are there any good examples of NIP-17 in the wild?

stillwaiting.jpg for a Go implementation of the loony NIP-44 encryption scheme, does the author of this scheme "reference implementation" want to actually fix theri broken shit because it doesn't work

i know because i tried to use it for a relay DM chat CLI interface

that was the point at which i abandoned the task for the time being, as writing a compliant NIP-44 codec was not in my list of things to do

There is a Go implementation here https://github.com/paulmillr/nip44

does this fix the incorrect implementation by exzyys or whatever his name was?

is anyone going to actually acknowledge that it was wrong because it is wrong, i used it with coracle nip-44, based on the javascript version and it did not work, and my CLI was broken, versus NIP-04 working

I have no idea who or what exzyys is.. I have no idea what you are talking about.

NIP-44 is working great everywhere I see it. So, I don't know where the "is wrong" is coming from.

don't be cute with me

https://github.com/ekzyis/nip44

you obviously weren't there when this was being rolled out

and #golang ok? obviously relevant if i'm writing a relay in Go and i want to build a DM CLI in GOLANG

also it's in the gay ass fucking "security audit bullcrap" document that was published about this by idk who but i remember who wrote the Go version because I'm a Go programmer and you can't gaslight me so don't diss me because you don't know what the fuck you are talking about

Just use the official Go demo I sent you. That should work out of the box. There are test cases you can use to verify if things are working.

> you obviously weren't there..

Are you sure? I helped create NIP-44 with nostr:npub10jcnehsxwrjepupvh602pl83up0dh3wv3fqfwv062smygqvpeuwsk03kag and nostr:npub1jlrs53pkdfjnts29kveljul2sm0actt6n8dxrrzqcersttvcuv3qdjynqn since July last year.

But yeah, I don't know what this ekzyis repo is about.

Yeah, that's the audit we use to fix a few things for V2.

it referenced said broken implementation, if you read it closely

this wasted so many days of my life

Coracle does it. They are still refining it but it's pretty good already.
