Well a large cotton beach towel also works lol I would wear just that too if I was always somewhere warm.

But year I hear you. I am tall as well so I know what you mean. And yeah designer brands are cut better and use better fabrics, but the prices are not an easy pill to swallow when you are trying to Hodl 🥵

I’ve noticed some of the designer brands using worse quality synthetic fabrics.

Causes all sorts of problems

I would say this shift may partly be due to rising inflation; even luxury brands face economic challenges. Additionally, many have observed an influx of new customers with substantial wealth “new money”, and these brands understand that these “new money” clients have less experience in discerning high-quality fabrics due to them likely not being brought up wearing such high quality fabrics. Brands understand that “new money” shoppers will likely prioritize the visual appeal of clothing over its tactile qualities, simply because they don’t know what it should feel like. When they see a celebrity wearing a hoodie, they only see it, they can’t feel it. In response to inflation and changing consumer preferences, some brands have focused on the appearance of their products while compromising on the original high-quality standards, recognizing that many modern shoppers may not have a reference point for the superior fabric quality they once offered. 🥵
