This report, prepared for the Open Dialogue Foundation, demonstrates that the European Union is on a collision course with non-custodial Bitcoin payment solutions. The effective ban on anonymous payments, coupled with advanced surveillance and identity detection measures, risks marginalising EU CASPs and undermining the fundamental right to privacy.
