No. It's like someone hosting a nextcloud instance and using Nextcloud Talk for nostr discussions

I guess you could say that in a way. I was just sitting at the house the other night and was missing the spaces experience. This is an easy, open source alternative that I figured people could use.

definitely nice to see an alternative to Twitter spaces
