SimpleX is Power 💯

There a problem is I see battery drains check message all time after this resolve it is a perfect thank you

Same here, changed notificatons mode to 'periodically'. Otherwise it uses an insane amount of battery power.

Yes but no message immediate and I need a message immediate hope these solve in a future

I’m always in favour of SimpleX Chat, but wouldn’t it be beneficial (and fair) to include the description what the specific colours mean?

I listened to that Tucker Carlson podcast with Rogan (I’m not sure what to make of the things he says BTW). However, he said something that caught my attention. He said the government spied on him. He was vague about it and didn’t explain how they did it when asked. However, it involved getting access to his messages on his Signal app. There was no discussion about how that shouldn’t happen bc of the encryption. Further, he seems to shrug it off as “they’re just at that point” where they’re going to spy on citizens. Double WTF (i.e. Neither of those guys seems flummoxed by the fact that his constitutional rights had been violated).

Simplex definitely doesn't have better reputation than Signal lol.

But it is a table made by Simplex themselves. Of course thy would make their product look the best 🤣

Can you claim that signal uses the code they have published on their servers?

With simplex you can set up your own server, that alone is a great advantage.

You can't claim that with Simplex either. Yes, you can run it yourself but that doesn't mean that they can't run a modified version. You can also run a Signal server if you want but it is way harder and I can't find much information on how to do it.

If you run a signal server you cannot communicate with others.

Simplex has a superior architecture to signal in all aspects, but you may not like it.

That is good. I have nothing against Simplex. Except that comparison table. There are many more eyes looking at the Signal source code than Siplex. And many more eyes have looked at the source code of Signal than Simplex.

That doesn't change the fact that almost nobody I know uses either of the two so they are both useless to me. 😅

How does https://keet.io stack up in this comparison🤔🧐❓

its the best

What about open sourcing?🤔🧐

most of it is already https://github.com/holepunchto

the rest of the code is mostly viewable and all will be open after beta, they need to keep people updated as they iterate and they dont want to be chasing problems from forks currently

Thank you; I actually looked the other day, but didn't find this archive...

Can you point me to a good summary of *why* Keet is better than any on nostr:npub1lnms53w04qt742qnhxag5d6awy7nz6055flnmjkr6jg39hm86dlq7arrnt 's list?🧐🤔

no sorry, i know for me p2p is super cool and if the data is not passing centralized points its harder to collect

there was some discussion between keet and simplex devs on twitter, otherwise you would have to talk with keet devs on keet or watch some of their podcasts like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qqmdbv01PEk

i know they are very focused on security and privacy

I appreciate your feedback...

So, nostr:npub1lnms53w04qt742qnhxag5d6awy7nz6055flnmjkr6jg39hm86dlq7arrnt, is there a reason Keet isn't on your chart? Can you tell us how it compares?😃🙏🏻🤔
