Someone already mentioned 2001, and Kubrick is an easy go-to, so I’ll throw out Barry Lyndon.
I've probably seen Barry Lyndon like 5 times or so, and I still don't really understand the plot.... it's just so beautiful to look at, I don't bother paying much attention to the dialog.
