the only thing more annoying than a too-small sink is a too-small faucet, but those are usually only found in bathrooms. most kitchen faucets are decent size.
when i was young and naive i would look at faucets like this:

and think - didn't the designers understand that there is no room to put your hands under that thing ?
now i understand they knew very well that there is no room. but they want you to pay extra 50 bucks or so for every additional inch. which is why almost all faucets are unusable - because manufacturers won't give you an inch more than you paid for - and the average home builder won't buy anything but the cheapest one, so they are ALWAYS way too small.
honestly when you think of a faucet as a penis the average bathroom faucet looks embarrassing.
this is a proper size faucet:

it costs $300 ( versus $50 for the small one ) but such is the cost of having a big faucet dick.
when i remodeled my bathroom in NYC a few years back this is the faucet i chose. worth every penny.
and again, when people do choose large and expensive faucets like this it is always for their imposing style. never for their function. yes it certainly looks more expensive but that's not why i got it - you can actually wash your hands with this faucet without having your hand rub on the side of the sink.
the cheap faucet on other hand is made too-small on purpose. it is also made to look boring and generic on purpose because the manufacturer knows you're too dumb to consider the function, so they have to make it look ugly to push people with thicker pockets towards the more elegant ( and expensive ) model.
in this particular example i used Moen as example of small, cheap faucet and Delta as example of large, expensive faucet but this isn't about brand at all. both Delta and Moen are good brands. it's just a difference between entry-level and premium faucet.
i gotta say $300 for a faucet is a fucking ripoff, but that's just how the industry is. if you want size and style and you want them from a reputable brand you have to pay.
in my case i also had matching Delta Trinsic shower system as well for another $900.

i was actually super happy with that setup. it had some kind of super duper resonance system in the shower head for super even spray that actually worked as advertised and i really loved the narrow shower wand for washing my balls and arm pits.
10/10 would recommend.
it might have been possible to get a single element that worked decently for less, but to have an entire matching setup where every single part works as advertised and has a clean, modern aesthetic that also matches the rest of the decor - i was happy that i was able to make it happen at all, and the price i just had to swallow.
unfortunately i don't live there anymore - my parents live there now.
