Amex has started running ads with the slogan "you know you're a member when..." as if applying for a credit card means you're part of some secret exclusive club lol.

Not even got anything against Amex, I put all my fiat spending on my platinum card to get the cashback then pay it off each month, but the way they brand themselves as an exclusive club is funny.

If you're in the U.S. (and very recently, Canada) and don't mind KYC, Spritz gives you a virtual VISA you top off with self-custodial Bitcoin and other coins.

Not like the Strike card is coming anytime soon.

I'm in the UK but I think the Bitcoin Company offers something similar here plus give cashback in sats. They're prepaid cards too so no KYC. Not tried it out yet though due simply to the fact they're inherently custodial.

Ironically, the most locked down countries have the most robust ways of fully living off Bitcoin. It surprises me how easy Aussie Bitcoiners have it in regards to bill payments.

Bitrefill had a U.S. bill payment system briefly in 2022, and then it was shut down... shame.
