It is not becoming AGI thing ever ..
and it is going to create more work ..like all the tools did in past ..
it is not different from hype standpoint .. only the people are new ! They haven't prolly seen past cycles of hype ..

It doesn't need to be AGI. It just needs to control a repository of code better than interns. Much easier job.
Yes .. but then you will have thousands of repos .. in all you will still need to spend more hours on code :-) and you will need more people .. nothing wrong .. it is just the nature of progress ☺️
Better roads lead to more accidents ( in absolute numbers ) because more cars show up and they try to drive lot faster ...
