I like the article and the sentiment, but thats not an accurate statement about Proton.

They have an option for account recovery using a recovery phrase or recovery file, but their password reset option only provides you access to the account, it won't decrypt your existing data. In other words, you could still use your email but anything stored prior to the reset would effectively be useless.
