in my personal case - video editing, captioning, animating. I can compare color vibrancy between different screens. Can have the option to move text / images around by touch screen or through keyboard shortcuts while the main monitor can stay in full view.

I also like the idea of keeping the smaller monitor focused on brush textures of reference images as a quick visual guide during projects
