It's up to clients to start trying to get new users. Easy onboarding in apps and more mature features are necessary to keep them once attracted. it looks like it will be a slow process for awhile until traction starts to go up. here's hoping though as it's obvious a decentralized protocol like #nostr is best for free speech and thus should be used by the masses. ✌️
Amen! But the current relays are far from being able to handle the masses. Self-hosters would be destroyed with the traffic. Medium-sized Nostr would be comfiest.
Considering the recent legislation to ban TikTok was just approved in the house this weekend, there’s many looking for alternatives. I’m doing my part to comment and send people here.
