Is there a way to do lists here? Like, so people can switch to a timeline view of their best frens notes?

Yes there is. But not on all client

#amethyst support timeline based on list, but somehow no way of managing which user belong to which list

So what I do is I setup the list on nostr.kiwi and then I go back to #amethyst to enjoy the list

Yes, you can create people lists on listr.lol

And use the top bar on Home Feed in Amethyst to switch between All Follows/ list you created

Coracle also supports building lists and using them as custom feeds
