The Instagram comment section has become pretty damn spicy, I assume deliberately to drive engagement. Not sure when this happened? Nostr, for the most part, is family-friendly in comparison. Despite bluesky calling us Nazis lol.

I remember ages ago when I was using Instagram they are pretty all over giving warnings for posts. Maybe thata the same but they leave comments spicy to keep interest going? Used to be one of the strictest platforms tho.🤔

I actually saw a comment on Bluesky that said if you have a social media which was topic-follows rather than people-follows it's because people want to hide wanting to follow Nazis lol. These people are insane.
Not saying this is everyone on Bluesky tho obvs, but probably symptomatic of who they've attracted as a userbase.
I'm also not saying we don't have our fair share of loons here.:)
