In my case it was at age 12, after watching the movie Space Camp. I'd been poring over photos of space for years, and loved Sci-Fi (Star Trek AND Star Wars equally, thanks Dad 🤗)

And then... Space Camp somehow unlocked "😮 you mean... I could GO to space?!!! 😀 Hot dog! Sign me up! I'm totally smart enough to be an astronaut. Let's go!"

I did not end up pursuing it though.

I think that was something that never came into my mind. but my daughter and my son asked me last week if they could be astronauts (6 and 3 yo). I think that's a good sign 😅
