As long as powerful states exist, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies can never become the future of money. It is an illusion to think otherwise, as strong governments will not and cannot permit the circulation of money-like assets beyond their direct control.

CONTROL, ILLUSION A IS. PERMIT THEY THINK, HMMM? EXIST, STATES POWERFUL AS LONG?
Ok so how will they stop #Bitcoin.
And if they are willing and succeeding, prevent other Governments or jurisdictions from using it ?
And finally how will they stay competitive against those using #Bitcoin and prevent sliding into oblivion ?
If they rather be in power of a death earth than giving up power thus ready to start a nuclear war they could 'succeed'...
Bitcoin isn’t being stopped since it’s considered a commodity or stock rather than money. However, transactions are closely monitored, and mixers are restricted to prevent money laundering. Bitcoin does not pose a challenge to the dollar.
