it is security by obscurity though.

might not be smart to condition people to expect color to verify people, as an attacker don't have to match the color exactly (just close enough to fool people).

other than that i think it's a good idea

it's just styling CSS... it's not tied to any real security. it helps give a visual clue and that's it.

yeah. so depending on how it's presented, people might start to think of it as verifying their legitimacy.

but I might be overly skeptical. it's probably not that big of an attack surface in reality. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
