I don’t like the language or assumption that a CBDC is a “public” option as many, particularly in media and western governments/politicians, are proposing.
It’s not about the public (the people). It’s a government surveillance and control option.
depends on the design of the CBDC. categorically rejecting the possibility of CB-issued digital cash is not smart
