My first exposure to bitcoin's existence and ability to purchase was when it was at around $300. I didn't actually buy any until waaaay later though.

If only I had the mental bandwidth at the time to connect the dots... I was still enraged by the bank bailouts at the time and was primed for it.

Such is life though, thankfully it's a steal at any fiat price.
