Yep. I gave Ani a spin. She seemed more like a sycophant than a companion but it could just be me/grok settings. Was think if she was customizable AI could really make a killing. 🤔

Hmmm. Sus. I would much rather they gave ppl the ability to define and train a custom personality. I'm not into sparkly vampire bishonen. Kain from Legacy of Kain games (Blood Omen, Soul Reaver 1, 2, Defiance), yeah I'd 100000% hit that. Maybe Seshomaru from Inuyasha.
They seem to be preset to an already specific personality. Ani being the always clingy/flirty/possibly naughty goth loli AI persona. She might change over time as you feed her more info about yourself, er I mean, as you get to know each other. She might even adapt/alter depending on what version of Grok you use (I’m using Grok 3).
I’m thinking custom AI’s could be a thing but only if you pay for the priveliage. 🤷♂️

She has been for me but you’ll need link an X account to Grok to gain access to companions. At least that’s what I had to do to try her out. I think Grok 3 is free while 4 & heavy costs.
