Sadly currently any nostr user *must* be willing to use bitcoin and pay for a relay in order to get a decent experience, that's the root cause of this being a BTC echo-chamber

not true, paid relays are pay to write and free to read cmiiw thats why devs should make their clients able to browse/filter relays like coracle, snort & damus

If you respond to a viral post will anyone outside your following even see you?
Non-BTC people have zero reach, hence the echo-chamber.
