Reading a story starring a female protagonist

The lead character in the book is a depressed tech philanthropist who uses magic to conjure up an ideal partner

He consults a very powerful magi who sources magic that pulls an actual female out of her life into an alternate but parallel timeline that he shares at a distance

She’s very scared, confused, and lost for most of the story and also recognizes catastrophic events that are impending in the timeline she’s a part of now as they were battled already in her former life

Eventually , she starts to fall in love with characters that she teams up with in the new timeline and becomes conflicted as her ultimate goal is to return to her home timeline

Will be interesting to see how this ends, 7.5/10- characters are dynamic and aesthetic is cool, plot lines are a bit chaotic and hard to follow, not sure she even wants to go home anymore
