The biggest problem is if most of the coins are held by big custodians. If a big hack happens or something like 6102 happens, Bitcoin is not dead but adoption goes way slower.
In any 6102 scenario, bitcoin goes through the roof. There is no seizure and the fact that they tried to “outlaw” it would make markets appreciates it value more quickly.
If it happens tomorrow, yes
Because the majority of coins is in our hands currently
But if 90% coins is in custodians, most people will have to comply whatever the government says
Yes I believe the real Bitcoin will eventually wins
But the adoption may delay by 20-50 years

Especially in case there’s hard fork after major hacks in that scenario.
So we not only need more number of nodes, but also number of noses (real bitcoiners)
