Simple yet difficult. Many people are simply not used to thinking about future.
I realised that what helped me was to…imagine myself being 25 years older. Do I want to constantly worry about bills etc or do I want to live, not “just exist”?

This is what I say to people also. “Imagine if you hit retirement age right now, could you retire or would you have to keep working”. And sure, it’s perfectly fine to keep working if you enjoy it or are “young” enough.
But you have a choice, you’re not forced to work if you don’t it want. Freedom of choice and freedom of consequences.
