Saying you “followed” someone for nostr seems like a a very Fiat/Twitter description. We have to come up with something better.

When a bunch of Nostriches group together they ‘flock’ or it is a ‘pride’. Also when a Nostrich makes a sound it is called “Booming”.

“Tweeted” = “Boomed”

“Followed” = “Flocked”

“Spaces/groups” = “Pride”

“👍” = “🤙”

NULL = ⚡️

What do you say #[0] any other suggestions?

Can we get the “Post” button updated on Damus to “Boom”?

There’s spaces already and they are aptly called nests! 🪺

Ah ofc, yes good call. Nests makes sense.

One of the cool things about nostr is different clients can implement whatever nomenclature they so choose 🤙

I know a “space” is called “Nest” on nostrplebs.

One thing to keep in mind for naming in general is easy of translation to other languages.

Regarding Damus, you’d have to talk to #[2].

That said, “boom/boomed/booming” sounds pretty rad ⚡️💥

Actually a “tweet” is already called a “Note” I believe. It isn’t related to an ostrich but I think it’s already heavily used.
