I purposely ditch work parties. What am I go for? To hang out with more people in the payment processing business for free? Im trying to get away from payments if it's not bitcoin or Cash business.

So my group has two types of "work party". The inner group that consists of our team and our manager, and "the rest of the company". Last year our group went tubing down a river tripping on mushrooms.
You'd think we're like warehouse workers or something, but no; we're industrial engineers.
We work hard, but we play hard too.
Yes! I'll go to my department party all day! Idky my coworkers are starkly different from the rest of the organization. Maybe because the Risk dept is the black sheep dept of the org and so I fit in? Who know right 🤷🏽♀️
