According to NBC News, U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has unilaterally halted a weapons shipment to Ukraine, despite internal military assessments indicating the transfer would not impact U.S. combat readiness.

The decision caught Congress, the State Department, Kyiv, and European allies off guard. Some of the weapons—including Patriot interceptors and air-to-air missiles—had already been loaded for delivery in Poland.

This marks the third time Hegseth has paused military aid without prior consultation or coordination.

Slow war means long war. He should just start arming the Russians and put an end to this. The US takes only small steps, lifting sanctions here and there, suspending arms deliveries and intelligence now and then, etc. Just go all in!

But to make it quick, the US should arm Russia. Why remove sanctions bit by bit, why cut air defence bit by bit? Just go all in. North Korea is helping with everything it can, China is pumping money and machinery, Iran has helped from the beginning. China even said today that Russia can't lose. The US should just do its part, stop pretending, and finish with it. The US already votes at the UN with North Korea, Russia, Iran and Israel. Am I wrong?

Russia is way ahead of the curve in terms of armaments. They don't need to be armed by us.
