Under construction in southern France, ITER aims to be the largest of over 100 fusion reactors built in the past seven decades. ITER is progressive step forwards but pitfall still remain. Firstly it requires more energy to operate than it currently produces, this raises questions in terms of efficient and scalability. Significant delays are now projected to be 2034, More funding required 5 billion to be exact.
Politics hinder the progress of technological advancement also, all countries mentioned compete with eachother..
