I didn't know Iraq or Lybia were "Islamic countries" or that the invasions, aggression and regime change that undeniably the US perpetrated against those states were religious in nature and motivation. Even the Israel question isn't a religious matter, but an ethno-national one.

The fact that the pro-terrorist, pro-islamist infiltrators and factions among us in the West, and the anti-Western regimes abroad insist on making it a religious matter says a lot.

There is no realm of possibility in the universe in which I ever support an islamist block, faction or State, full stop. Islamism is an evil ideology and anything it touches is poisoned forever as far as I'm concerned.

Forgive my long response, I have been preparing to post a piece on Gaza to Habla.news and I can’t help it lol

If you go back and watch the speeches of George W Bush during the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq, he repeatedly used religious phrasing and framing to describe The War On Terror and those invasions as some kind of Holy War of Good vs Evil. He even referred to The War On Terror as a “crusade” several times and claimed God was on the side of the USA. The christian fascists in the USA loved the rhetoric. Let’s not forget a large part of the USA considers the country to be a Christian nation.

I agree with you that the Israeli issue is not a religious matter, Zionism has nothing to do with the Jewish religion and Palestinian resistance is not only from Muslims. For me, it is purely about the clear colonial nature of Zionism from the moment they landed on the shores of Palestine with British soldiers. Zionism is exclusively about colonizing Palestine and making a so called “Jewish state”, it is all in their writings and speeches from the founding of the Zionist ideology and is still the main thrust of Zionism today.

It shouldn’t be too hard for people to think of other comparable ideological movements that used ethnic cleansing in order to make an ethnically and racially pure state and then come up with a category to describe these kinds of ideologies. I think Fascism is the best term to describe them.

The Palestinians, about 700,000, were violently driven off their land and houses in 1948, and guess whose descendants populate Gaza. Mostly those that were ethnically cleansed in 1948 and the attempts at ethnic cleansing are ongoing even now. The state of Israel is a clear fascist state with nuclear weapons and the weight of an empire behind it.

The one attempting to make this into a religious issue is Israel by persistent propaganda intended to get people to conflate the state of Israel with the Jewish religion and people. This conflation is a basic logical error, yet the West has successfully brainwashed people into believing criticism of Israel = anti-semitism, which is only true if Israel and the Jewish religion and people are one and the same.

What do you mean by “pro-terrorist”? I find that the West has a problem, that originated in The War on Terror, with painting every resistance group that isn’t on our payroll as “terrorists”. Hamas and the other Palestinian resistance groups are not terrorists. Terrorism is attacking civilians, attacking settlers aligned with hostile occupying states is freedom fighting by definition. The propaganda has been so successful in the West, that we can’t even properly identify the freedom fighters from the fascists.

Here is a quick summary of things that people in the West have a hard time understanding that I already had written for my piece on Gaza:

1) No state has the right to exist under international law. Yes, even you USA.

2) All states have the right of self defense, but an occupying state cannot claim this right against the people they are occupying. Engaging in belligerent occupation negates the self defense right. Israel creates the danger they attempt to claim a right of self defense on.

3) The Palestinian people have an absolute right to armed resistance against the occupying state of Israel however they see fit. There is no international law that restricts or prevents them from acting on this right.

4) Terrorism, by definition, is attacks on civilians. Attacking settlers is not terrorism as settlers are not civilians. Settlers are always an important part of colonization and are true ideological believers in ethnic cleansing and a pure ethno-state.

5) The state of Israel cannot be logically conflated with Jewish people or the Jewish religion in general. That is a psy op by the Israeli state.

6) Apartheid states are Fascist states. Israel is carrying out apartheid on the Palestinian people. Therefore, Israel is a fascist state. See, it’s so simple.
