Be careful who you send sats to as there appear to be some fake accounts harvesting zaps from GM notes. If in doubt, check the account as they all share similar characteristics:

- they generally only engage with GM notes, replying with the same reply each time

- they don't post new notes themselves, just repost others to make them look more legitimate

- they have a small number of followers

- they have a generic name and simple one line bio (if at all)

- nostr.band shows that they have received sats but not sent any (or a very small amount)

- nostr.band shows many of them first became active around the same time, usually within the last couple of months

When in doubt, don’t zap⚡️

🤔 Hmmmm, I usually reply to GMs with the same response, I have very little info in my profile, I do post new notes though some days I only repost others because I find so many worthy of a repost, I only have small number of followers, some days I only 'like' and don't zap as much because those posts are not liked as much by me. Etc., etc. yet I'm not a fake account. 🥴🥹😂🤣🫣

Yours looks very different to these fake accounts! If I look at yours I see many longer replies to notes other than GM notes, original notes, many more followers than these have, nostr.band shows a lot more sats zapped. And fake accounts wouldn’t have taken the time to reply to this to say they aren’t fake!

Nice of you to notice, Phil. I'm definitely not fake, glad to say. 🧡✨👍
