Chinese highways have cameras every couple of minutes that check if you are wearing your seatbelt, texting and driving, or speeding. They text you a ticket immediately if they detect a violation. We have the exact same technology here in the USA doing the same thing.

We have license plate readers that local police are using to track you everywhere.

We have license plate readers tracking you and sending you toll violations for “congestion pricing”.

We have cameras taking pictures of you and your vehicle everywhere tracking your speed. If you violate speed limits you get violations in the mail at your vehicle’s registered address. And if you don’t pay the violations your vehicle gets booted and towed.
