AI does not process information, but meanings. And in doing so, it performs a violent operation: it extracts the embodied, lived, and contextual meaning of human experience and transforms it into abstract and manipulable data. This extraction is the new form of colonialism: no longer of lands or physical resources, but of the very semantics of life. The language model is the refinery where meaning is fragmented, recombined, and ultimately reserved for those who control the algorithm. Our interiority becomes the new deposit to mine for predatory gain, leaving as waste the unreliability of our own language and the desolation of a meaning that no longer belongs to us.
