Are naps underrated, or have we just convinced ourselves that being tired is a personality flaw?

For me, I have learned that sleep whenever I feel I need it is important. Sometimes it's a nap. For me they are usually very short, like 15 minutes or so.

Agreed. I need to slip away and take one of those 15 minute “breaks”

Seems like a sweet spot. Longer naps can sometimes wipe me out.

Siestas are a thing for a reason. Our natural alertness is decreasing in mid-day, so a nap perks us back up again.
