Help me like I am a 5 year old.

I don't understand most of what I see when I go to the relay part of amethyst.

You need to choose where your posts are stored.

That's the public outbox/home option. You need to pick one, otherwise your posts just go to random places and its REALLY hard to find them.

Then you have to choose a relay that people can send you their reactions, zaps, replies, etc. That's your Public Inbox relays.

You need to choose a MAXIMUM of 3 in each: 3 outbox and 3 inbox. 1 is too little because many relays go off line here and there. 2 is good for resiliency and 3 makes sure at least one of your relays are always there.

This is way too complex for the average human. Many already struggle just installing an app.

Not sure what your target group is but I feel if this is not automatically set up on installation 90% of new users will be lost.

Indeed I am

You already have a profile pic and a name set, I believe you'll get it done πŸ˜„

True, but without those things users will stay slaves of the apps. If they don't know where their stuff is, there is no point on making a decentralized protocol.

We need to figure out a way to educate everyone to go through those things and choose their server (probably paying for that if they don't want to have their data sold out)

I'll try to figure it out but I've seen it as a labyrinth already.

I gave all green light in config thinking more is better
