Martyr Hermes, a Roman official, was arrested for his Christian faith during Emperor Aurelian's reign. Despite torture, he refused to renounce Christ. An angel healed his wounds in prison. The emperor, witnessing this miracle, sought healing for his son from Hermes. When Hermes healed the son through prayer, the emperor and his entire household converted. Later, under a new emperor, Hermes was beheaded for his unwavering faith.
