What functionality do I need at the base layer that we do not have today? Sure covenants and some additional op codes could be useful and I think we will get them eventually but what is the rush? I certainly do not need whatever Kaspa has

Got some news for you…Kaspa won’t be able to scale at the base layer either.
This is why we have second layers like lightning and liquid and spark and ark and probably 10 others that don’t exist yet

Haha there you go again making a claim after you’ve already admitted you know nothing about Kaspa. Kaspa can scale on the base layer. It is a Directed Acyclic Graph vs a chain. It can escalate to beyond 10bps. It can scale on the base layer. It did 160 million transactions in 1 day last week. Remove your pride, calm down, let go of your condescending emotions, and just study. And if you’re too lazy to study, at least stop making claims you can’t substantiate (not fair-launched, can’t scale on base layer, etc).
