Every time the general populace will swallow the propaganda. The rest of the populace, who maybe do not have a strong opinion about it, will follow suit because of peer pressure.

Meanwhile we suffer collective amnesia about all the decades of lies they've spun in the past in order to secure resources from other counties.

Yes, I don't deny there being somewhat of a trickle down effect but those are breadcrumbs soaked in the blood of the innocent. Meanwhile, the culprits consolidate power and run off with the riches.

Do you really think serving under Western psychopath oligarchs will be any different than serving under Eastern ones?

Centralized power structures are a haven for psychopaths and corruption. I do hope there will be a point in the future where the citizens of the world agree that power should be decentralized and we can collectively build a future.
