#AskNostr Do any of you use Amethyst? If so, I am actually thinking about doing a social experiment (although it's more like a study) about how people who use Amethyst tend to be more censored compared to other Nostr clients. I hear a lot about the web of trust leading to users being shadowbanned, so I'm doing this just so see how bad it actually is.

There was a user who was butt hurt about stuffs, he getting banned idk who they were. The concerns were that he spammed where he said he did not. You get the jist. Dev made a video or something find that user he have tales.
I am using amethyest i do not think i am I have any issue. Apart from isp doing shit job and blocking relays.
Thank you for your output! Do you use any other clients besides Amethyst, and if so do you notice your profile or others showing up more or less on the clients?
Primal I cannot see my followers there idk why.
I am very very new in nostr. Do not take my reply as a objective measure but possibly as a user error.
Iris feels different that amethyest idk why, maybe different relays. Other than that its all well. Obviously all the clients feel different in contents i guess that is how its supposed to be for eg primal is way different than amethyest. I guess its how it works.
That being said i will look out for things i have very little followers and following to conclusively say anything regarding any such claims. If you want me to do something lmk.

I use Amethyst and YakiHonne and see the same stuff on both platforms so far. I only follow a few people, though.
