When they did the re-release (20 or 25 years? from the first one), a friend and I took the day off work and watched the original trilogy in the big theater all in one day. We watched the original then ate lunch. Then watched Empire Strikes Back and ate dinner. Then we watched return of the Jedi. It was fun, but it already made me feel old when a kid sitting next to me had never seen it because he was born after all 3 were out.

It was pretty cool. Although I had seen the Empire and Jedi in the theater, I had more recently seen all of them on a TV/VCR where the sides were cropped off. There was a whole lot going on that I'd forgotten about. We don't have that problem any more.
