Articles like these are deeply stupid. People (who don’t understand #bitcoin ) are spending more BECAUSE of high inflation. Why save when you know that saved money will buy to less tomorrow?

NPR is state-funded. The state and its apologists have every reason to discourage peasants from spending during inflation, or they lose the escape hatch for their own insolvency.
