the best tools to use while traveling and your lightning node is at home.

I write this from now years of experience with my pi node constantly losing connection, power outages, and syncing errors only happening when I'm on the road. For the laptop/miniPC node fanboys, I also have one of these. I may switch to it full-time.

but in the meantime:

-Tailscale app to a clearnet URL only you know

-Tor link to manage

-Zeus app

-Using a smart plug at home connected to an app (and resetting if necessary)

-Using TeamViewer or SSH into a local machine or server on your home network

Am I missing anything else?

Thanks for sharing this. Any recommendations on the smart plug? Might look into trying that.

just a random one from Amazon. I’ve used Meross which, unfortunately like most of these smart devices, is from China. Luckily it’s just an on/off switch and you can add a timer and all other customizations in the app or via Apple’s HomeKit. Maybe Phillips is better
