Some thoughts that came in my head when reading this.

Who decides who is bright or brighter?

I think you can evaluate it only for specific topics. Let’s say you want to get better in financial topics. So someone would be „brighter“ who made a lot of money.

Hopefully this person is at least at as bright as you in other aspects, as you would get less bright at these aspects because of him.

Other question is, why should a “brighter” person connect with someone who is less bright. In this case he could not improve.

In my opinion you can get bright by yourself. Does not matter if you have bright or not bright friends.

Sure, bright friends will boost in your improvement. But for me that’s kind of FIAT/Shitcoin thinking.

Because there’s more value in people than just seeing your own improvement. Experiences you lived together etc bond together. Or helping each other in shitty times.

Lol that escalated quickly. Just wanted to share my thoughts in one or two sentences 😅

Sure. What you added is common sense to me.

I personally have no intension of leaving people behind. Having a group of people with whom you can reflect what you learned is important. At the same time I have experienced huge steps of individual process which makes it impossible to be around a specific group of people anymore.

To 'who decides who is brighter' the answer is: me.

... and you are 100 % right: it all depends and has a lot to do with personal development and personal ability and will to help a comunity and/or profit from a community.
