I understand your point. But criminal is a legal category and those who define it rule by coercion, not consensus, democracy or not. Hell, I bet I’m a criminal in my country merely for some things I think and believe… Again, sure, let’s fight, I just think that opting out of a crumbling system is more efficient and safe individually. I am not at all opposed to what you do of course.

You right, you can be treated as a criminal just because someone allowed to abuse power and classified you so.

Just as in #Kazakhstan police has been arresting peaceful protesters with blue balloons since 2018, when opposition announced a protest in support of discrimination of autistic children. Some protesters were even tortured and killed…

Btw, their bank account were frozen since their activities is classified as an “extremism”.

What can be more crazy to arrest parents and supporters who spoke up in defense of autistic children treated inhumanly by the state institutions?

Do you think the Kazakh opposition has given up?

I am absolutely not advocating for giving up, quite the contrary. Again, let’s have the fight, it’s important! Everything would obviously be easier if they gave us permission, even if we don’t need it in Bitcoin or Nostr. Perhaps I’m too cynical, but I very much doubt they’ll ever allow us, so it’s good news we don’t need permission: civil and peaceful disobedience is now more accessible than ever, and at a larger scale. That doesn’t mean I am giving up, none of us should.
